The purpose of the Pelham-Batesville Fire Department Training Division is to educate all personnel in multiple disciplines to ensure the safety of our citizens and the protection of property.  Training is coordinated and implemented by the Training Officer whose purpose is to ensure that PBFD personnel are up to date on current local, state, and national standards.  The training division focuses on topics such as: fire control, hazardous materials, medical continuing education, and technical rescue specialties to ensure PBFD personnel are prepared to handle the emergencies they respond to.  Training is conducted weekly on shift and department wide training is conducted once per quarter.  The Pelham-Batesville Training Division encourages personnel to pursue higher education to become a more professionally developed firefighter.  Any questions regarding the training division can be directed to Captain Drew Padget
