Lake Cunningham Fire Department - The Lake Cunningham Fire District is located in Upstate South Carolina, in the County of Greenville. The district covers an estimated 50 square miles: south from Highway 29 to north on Highway 414 and east from the Greenville/Spartanburg County lines to west on Highway 290. South Carolina Emergency Management Division - This is the State’s Emergency Management Agency. EMD is a division of the State National Guard and is involved in planning and response for any major disaster statewide. Homeland Security Website - The most up to date information on Homeland Security, direct from the White House and the Office of Homeland Security. Includes information on the National Strategy for Homeland Security. Gives current information on status of national threat levels. U.S. Fire Administration - This is also a division of the new Homeland Security Department. This site gives more information as to how to apply for assistance and specific situations on-going in the country. National Fallen Firefighters Foundation - This site is dedicated to the men and women who have given their lives in the line of duty while fighting fires in the United States. A memorial service is conducted annually in October to honor those who paid the ultimate price. FireHouse.com - A national site for news and information about the fire service.
